We can ensure your spear water can be utilized in many situations. There are subtle differences between Bore Water correction and Spear Water correction; specifically associated with location.
Spear water is generally found in sandy coastal areas of Australia and is commonly found closer to the surface than bore water. Spear waters also form in subterranean pockets but unlike bore water can be tidal, as a result water quality may in some cases may vary seasonally, such as seasonal increases in salinity levels. Spear water can commonly be accessed by digging a few metres below the surface.
Like bore water, spear water can also contain stain causing metals, organic tannins, excess salinity, hardness and colour etc. While some treatments are common to both, specific spear water treatments should take into consideration seasonal water quality variations and other defining differences.

Treatments / Recommendations
The first essential steps in successful spear water treatment are:
- Identify the type of water that is to be treated – bore or spear
- Perform a water test to determine what –if any – problems are likely to be encountered if you use this water.
When the tests results are completed, we then provide you with a comprehensive advisory service at which time we will explain to you any problems – if any – that have been identified. We will also discuss with you, obligation free, recommendations for any correction options.
To begin with, we will arrange for a sample to be collected for testing. At this point we will also enquire as to the intended use of your ground water together with a guide as to its likely usage volumes.
