The active ingredients of AqueousPro™ 50 are included by the National Health & Medical Research Council for use in Drinking Water. They are listed in the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines as chemicals available for use in drinking water treatment.

In a complex manufacturing process, the active substance (hydrogen peroxide) contained in AqueousPro™ 50, is stabilised and boosted with silver, achieving improved effectiveness against pathogens. How Does Hydrogen Peroxide kill Bacteria and Viruses in the Tank Water Purification Process?
Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) has been used as an antiseptic to kill bacteria since the 1920s. H2O2 destroys the bacteria’s cell walls in a process called Oxidation. The bacteria is then neutralised, becoming harmless in the process.
However, the use of Hydrogen Peroxide in water storage systems needs to be stabilised to ensure it doesn’t dissipate when added to stored water. This is where the revolutionary process of stabilising with Silver allows AqueousPro™ 50 to hold form and work its magic in killing bacteria and viruses.

Pristine Water Systems operators use AqueousPro™ 50 during the System Sanitising stage of our QuadClean™ water tank cleaning process. The water is Circulated and sanitised to ensure the system is Pristine.
