A Healthy way to Sanitise your Freshwater Tanks
The active ingredient in AqueousPro™ is Hydrogen Peroxide, stabilised with Silver. These active ingredients are included by the National Health & Medical Research Council for use in Drinking Water and is listed in the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines as chemicals available for use in the treatment of drinking water.
Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) has been used as an antiseptic to kill bacteria since the 1920’s. H2O2 destroys the cell walls of the bacteria in a process called Oxidation. The bacteria is then neutralised becoming harmless in the process.
But the use of Hydrogen Peroxide in water storage systems needs to be stabilised to ensure it merely doesn’t dissipate when added into your stored water. This is where the revolutionary process of stabilising with Silver allows AqueousPro™ to hold form and work its magic in killing bacteria and viruses.
AqueousPro™ is a highly effective and cost-efficient water sanitiser. Environmentally friendly and ecologically harmless, AqueousPro™ (once diluted) is completely safe to drink and does not pollute wastewater systems as the chemical reaction breaks down into water (H2O) and Oxygen (O2).
In a complex manufacturing process, the active substance (hydrogen peroxide) contained in AqueousPro™, is stabilized and boosted with silver, achieving improved effectiveness against pathogens. The benefits include a residual effect, the traces of silver remaining are not visible nor toxic, however they efficiently inhibit renewed contamination for weeks and in many instances, months.*
