The importance of using your Pressure Gauge

Although the process of supplying and servicing of filtration systems is pretty standard and routine, it’s unknown situations that lead to problems that can cost you time and money.

One of the first tasks we perform when quoting or servicing Whole of House, Softener & Calcite systems, or Undersink filtration systems, is to check the water pressure. The importance of doing this simple task is:

• To ensure the pressures aren’t so high as to cause damage to a filtration or Ultraviolet (UV) systems
• To check that there is sufficient pressure from the pump, so that  when you install a new kit/unit, that you won’t have any issues with the pump

Take the couple of minutes to check the water pressure and you’ll have the peace of mind that you can avoid some time consuming problems later on.
